They continue to be built in other cities that surround our city and near/next to residential property and schools in our city. The chickens come home to roost. One day there will be a solution. It is up to you and I and anyone concerned to address it. Negotiation is always a possibility if it meets the needs of everyone in an equitable way. If that is not possible then there has to be a discussion regarding what is!

DUMP SOMETIMES REFERRED TO AS A LANDFILL
September 2020 was two years since the dump on Bishop Road began to burn. For months it burned with so much smoke in the air that it was difficult for homeowners to breathe inside their homes as far as 3 miles away. The site stopped burning and began to emit smoke especially when it rains. The problem has not been resolved. A health assessment has begun.
